General Manager at Giantfield Property Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for all business functions, ensuring alignment with Giantfield Property’s growth objectives.
• Oversee property acquisition, sales, leasing, development, and property-management operations to achieve agreed revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop, implement, and monitor annual business plans, budgets, performance targets, and operational policies.
• Drive business development initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and strengthen the company’s competitive position within the Abuja real-estate market.
• Lead, motivate, and manage departmental heads and employees, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Review financial reports, manage expenditure, monitor cash flow, and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with clients, investors, regulatory bodies, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable real-estate regulations, statutory requirements, company policies, and health and safety standards.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and business risks; present timely recommendations to management.
• Uphold exceptional service standards and protect the company’s reputation, brand value, and client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a closely related discipline. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive management experience, with substantial experience in real estate, property development, construction, or property management.
• Demonstrated experience managing business operations, teams, budgets, and revenue-generating real-estate activities.
• Strong understanding of property sales, leasing, development processes, facility/property management, and the Abuja real-estate market.
• Proven commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse financial information, make sound decisions, and deliver measurable business results.
• Exceptional leadership, people-management, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
• Membership or certification from a recognised relevant professional body will be an advantage.
