Fashion House Manager(Surulere) at Stresert Services Limited

Our client, a fashion label in the heart of Lagos that specializes in couture, customized garments, and ready to wear clothing for customers is looking to hire a Manager. The ideal candidate will be both passionate and fluent in the fashion and retail world, with experience and existing relationships in this field. Illustration and sketching know-how is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• The Fashion House Manager will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer/MD.
• Manage the day-to-day activity of the business without supervision.
• Supervise and work with members of staff.
• Create designs and take measurements of customers.
• Supervise quality assurance (Quality control).
• Must be good with the color combination, complexion and size fit and should be able to sketch (for retail and bespoke wear).
• Research fashion trends and be active on social media
• Oversee production of ready-to-wear and bespoke clothing from point A to Z.
• Stay abreast of various contemporary styles.
• Create illustrations, prototypes, and sketches.
• Choose materials and sources for the market when necessary
• Keep track of inventory at all times in order to avoid setbacks due to shortages.
• Willing to represent or be the face of the brand whenever necessary.
• Keep accounting records and bank all income.
• Perform business administration responsibilities.
• Home service when necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a B.Sc./HND in any course but a degree in Fashion and Textile is an advantage
• Required experience is 3 - 5 years
• Passion for fashion combined with good customer service skills
• Highly computer literate and the capacity to train
• Must pay attention to detail
• Understanding of retail e-commerce landscape.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Confidentiality and discretion a MUST.
• Sound judgement and instinct to know what on-brand is.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, with a can-do attitude.
• Must look presentable at all times.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English, especially for social media posts.
• Punctuality and presentation are key.
