Job Description

• We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Farm Supervisor to oversee and coordinate farm operations, ensuring productivity and compliance with best agricultural practices.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising farm workers, assigning daily duties, and monitoring the progress of farming activities, with a particular focus on crop farming.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers.
• Assign and monitor specific tasks to farmers to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Provide guidance and support to workers in line with best agricultural practices.
• Oversee crop farming activities, including land preparation, planting, irrigation, weeding, pest/disease control, and harvesting.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and tools.
• Keep records of farm operations, input usage, and crop performance.
• Report progress and challenges to management regularly.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards on the farm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Crop Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Completion of NYSC program (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of crop farming practices and farm management.
• Good leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team effectively and work under minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
