    Facility Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are embarking on an ambitious and exciting growth strategy which will lead to a significant transformation of the business and you will play a significant role in this journey. We are looking for stellar HR Generalists to join the People and Culture Team!
    • You will be a key driver in championing. HR initiatives and providing strategic support across various functions.
    • You will work closely with leadership to enhance employee engagement, and talent development, and ensure the alignment of HR practices with business objectives.

    Job Details

    • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments
    • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
    • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
    • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
    • Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.) and external contractors
    • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc.
    • Allocate office space according to needs
    • Run routine maintenance inspections
    • Monitor interior and exterior areas of the building for cleanliness and general conservation
    • Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
    • Support maintenance and installment work as needed

    Functional/Technical:

    • Strong attention to detail
    • 4-6 years of proven experience as a facilities manager or relevant position
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
    • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Good analytical/critical thinking
    • BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
    • Relevant professional qualifications
