Facility & HSE Specialist at Geoplex Drillteq Limited. - Nigeria

• As the Facility and HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety compliance of the company's facilities.
• You will oversee health, safety, and environmental protocols while also managing infrastructure, space planning, and regulatory requirements.
• Your role is key to ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment across company sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee facility operations, maintenance, and asset management to ensure safe and efficient work environments.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; track and report findings with corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with service providers and contractors to ensure quality and timely execution of facility repairs and projects.
• Develop, review, and update HSE policies, emergency response plans, and facility maintenance schedules.
• Train staff on HSE protocols and promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
• Monitor environmental practices and sustainability initiatives within the company premises.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to facility operations and HSE compliance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Certifications: NEBOSH, HSE Level I–III, or related safety and facility management certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Sector.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian safety laws and environmental regulations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE laws and Facility management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and facility/HSE management software.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
