Fabrication Engineer at Sinoma Cargo International Nigeria Limited

We are looking for a Fabrication Engineer with great welding skill to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.

The best candidate for this role must have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Fabrication Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Examine drawings and other instructions for jobs
• draw patterns and cut them out of different metals
• drill and punch holes in the metal for screws, bolts, or rivets
• fold, form, and shape metal
• join and weld metal pieces
• polish and check the quality of the finished product

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND
• Knowledge of metals and their properties
• knowledge of how to use and care for equipment
• understanding of safety procedures
• technical skills for drawing and interpreting plans
• welding skills.
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
