Executive Housekeeper at a Reputable Hospitality Company

Executive House-keeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel rooms.  He supervises all house-keeping employees, thus has authority to discharge, plan, assign, and train all employees assigned to his Department. He audits his staff, inspects all assigned duties, prepares budget, and controls the House keeping budget for effective service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Organizes, supervises and coordinates the daily work of all house-keeping staff.
• Inspects all Public Areas, Housekeeping stores and Guest rooms.
• Ensures proper dissipation of information via daily briefing with his staff.
• Recruits new employees and trains them for effective service delivery.
• Establishes and maintains SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) for cleaning and developing new procedures to increase efficiency of staff and product use.
• Counsels and motivates Housekeepers on various duty demands.
• Sourcing and testing new techniques and products to enhance quality Housekeeping service delivery.
• Maintains regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, uniform, and equipment in the hotel.
• Evaluates the department staff performance and transfer purposes.
• Approves regular supply of requisitions, maintains minimum stock and cost control mechanism for all materials.
• Oversees preparation of Duty Rosters and approves same for effective monitoring of all Housekeeping staff.
• Checks all reports, files, registers for proper maintenance of the Department staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: HND /FIRST DEGREE

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 YEARS
