    Estate/Facility Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are looking to hire a Facility Manager for our client, a reputable organization in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive and professional Facilities Management System as well as coordinating the day-to-day facilities management operations while ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines & procedures.

    • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor of Science/Higher National Diploma
    • Experience Level: Entry level
    • Experience Length: 1-2 years

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensuring that company facilities are functional and well maintained- cleaning, fumigating, water supply, diesel supply, landscaping.
    • Implementing company processes, policies and procedures as it relates to facility management
    • Collaborating with maintenance department, to ensure the servicing and repair of company equipment and machinery, as at when due.
    • Overseeing renovations and refurbishments of company buildings.
    • Contract Development and Administration with respect to service providers, such as cleaning and security companies.
    • Helping to prepare departmental budget and keeping costs within the budget.
    • Ensure company adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
    • Continually keep abreast of facilities management related best practices to improve the department's services.
    • Monthly updated lease register showing status of all leases and highlighting those up for renewal in line with renewal SLA.
    • Produce weekly facilities issue monitoring and resolution report.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • A degree in Estate Management, Building, Environmental Science, or relevant degree
    • Trainings and certifications in facility management are an added advantage
    • A minimum of I year experience in a similar role
    • Must have completed NYSC
    • Project Management skills
    • Strong collaborative skills
    • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
