Emergency Response & Recovery Officer at P-GAT Industries

Role Summary

• Coordinate rapid response to fleet incidents, roadside breakdowns, battery-related immobilisation and other operational emergencies; manage recovery logistics and incident reporting while prioritising safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma/ND in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Transport/Logistics, Emergency Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in roadside recovery, fleet support, emergency response, transport operations or technical field service.
• Strong decision-making, safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• First aid/emergency response or technical recovery certification is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• All applicants must be ready and available to work in Adamawa State, Nigeria.
• All positions are full-time employment positions. Part-time or contract engagement may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to operational requirements and management approval.

• Unless a role-specific requirement states otherwise, the minimum educational qualification for non-state-level positions is a Diploma/ND or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Applicants must possess the applicable current credentials (professional licences, registrations, or certifications) required to lawfully perform the role.

Employment Terms

• This postion is intended as full-time employment 
• Part-time or contract-based engagement may be considered on a case-by-case basis where the role, operational need, and candidate profile justify such an arrangement.
• Successful candidates may be required to work across assigned operational locations within Adamawa State and to participate in field activities where applicable.
