Maintenance Engineer – Electrical / Mechanical at Dony Triump Nig. Ltd.

Department: Engineering & Maintenance

Reports To: Head of Engineering / Plant Manager

Direct Reporting Relationship:

The Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Head of Engineering / Plant Manager and is accountable for the effective execution of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, breakdown repairs, equipment installation, utilities maintenance and other assigned engineering activities.

Functional Working Relationships:

The Maintenance Engineer shall work closely with:

• Production Department – for equipment availability, maintenance scheduling, breakdown response and minimization of production downtime.
• Quality Assurance (QA) – for GMP compliance, equipment qualification, change control, deviations, CAPA and release of equipment following maintenance where applicable.
• Quality Control (QC) – for maintenance support relating to laboratory equipment and utilities where required.
• Warehouse/Stores – for control and availability of engineering spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Procurement Department – for technical specifications and procurement of spare parts, equipment and engineering services.
• EHS/Safety Personnel – for compliance with electrical, mechanical, environmental and occupational safety requirements.
• Equipment Suppliers/Contractors – for installation, commissioning, specialized repairs, technical support and maintenance services.

Escalation Relationship:

Major equipment breakdowns, repeated failures, critical utility failures, safety concerns, significant spare-parts requirements and engineering issues that could affect product quality, production continuity or GMP compliance shall be promptly escalated to the Head of Engineering / Plant Manager.

Supervisory Relationship:

Where assigned, the Maintenance Engineer may supervise technicians, artisans, contractors and other maintenance personnel during maintenance, installation, repair and engineering activities.
