Job Description

• To create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where pupils develop foundational academic, moral, and social skills through engaging lessons and activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons.
• Assess, record, and report pupils’ progress.
• Maintain discipline and a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Support pupils’ emotional and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school management.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events.

Education

• Minimum of NCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed, B.A/B.Sc Ed).
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 1–3 years teaching experience in a nursery or primary school.

Other Requirements:

• Passion for teaching children and fostering holistic development.
• Must be responsible, caring, and committed to continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity and patience in handling young learners.
• Strong understanding of early childhood and elementary pedagogy.
• Basic ICT and record-keeping skills.
