    Electronics Engineer

    About the job

    • As an Electronics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with a small team to design, manufacture, analyze, test, and develop spacecraft systems.
    • Your expertise will play a key role in contributing to the success of our projects in the aerospace industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate electrical systems, components, apps, and products;
    • Conceptualise and lead research programs, and assist in the development of engineering drawings;
    • Design testing methods and confirm system capabilities;
    • Perform specific project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications;
    • Analyse customer requirements and develop products for them;
    • Ensure the integrity of the product;
    • Generate and summarise reports based on in-depth market research and developed;
    • Maintain project workbooks, continuously update and capture workbook evidence per milestone event;
    • Create computer programs to maintain product databases;
    • Support the design, development, and testing of new and existing hardware designs; and
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar field;
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role;
    • Hands-on experience in designing and testing PCBs;
    • C, C++, Perl, Labview, TestStand;
    • Ability to code in Web-based languages (HTML/PHP/MYSQL);
    • Good verbal and written communication skills;
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • Must understand a Smith chart and FRIIS transmission equation;
    • Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB and C/C; and
    • PSPICE or equivalent analogue circuit simulation tool experience.
