The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and educating students in the field of economics, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for future academic and professional endeavours.

• Develop and deliver engaging economics lessons for secondary school students
• Create comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and international standards
• Utilize various teaching methods and educational technologies to enhance student learning
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to improve their understanding of economic concepts
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
• Stay updated on current economic trends and incorporate them into the curriculum
• Organize and supervise economics-related extracurricular activities and competitions
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the economics department's teaching methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field (required)
• Teaching certification or postgraduate diploma in education (required)
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in economics
