Early Years Teacher at New Ideal Model Schools, Jalingo

Responsibilities

• Lesson planning and delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that focus on early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and creative play using methods like stories, songs, and games.
• Child supervision: Oversee children in the classroom and during outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and that they follow behavioral rules.
• Assessment and record-keeping: Monitor and record each child's progress, maintain individual files, and write reports to document development.
• Parent communication: Foster partnerships with parents by providing regular updates on their child's progress and needs.
• Health and safety: Ensure the learning environment is clean, safe, and stimulating by adhering to all health and safety regulations and completing necessary risk assessments.
• Supportive role: Address the physical needs of young children, such as feeding and first aid, and act as a keyworker for a group of children.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc, B.Ed, or Master's Degree with 2-15 years experience.
