Speech and Language Therapist at Mobility Physiotherapy Clinic

Role Overview

• The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The role will involve a combination of clinic-based consultations or home visits within Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy sessions at the clinic and patients' homes.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain professional standards and adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• HMD/BSc in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional registration where applicable.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
• Experience in paediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice is an advantage.
• Ability to travel within Lagos for home visits.
