E-commerce Specialist at Impact HER Africa

About the Role

• The E-Commerce Specialist will lead our digital commerce strategy, support entrepreneurs in building and optimizing online stores, and help them access broader markets through e-commerce platforms. You will also manage partnerships, training programs, and digital growth initiatives that directly impact SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement e-commerce strategies for businesses participating in our programs.
• Support entrepreneurs in setting up and managing online stores (Amazon,Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia, Etsy, etc.).
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on digital marketing, online sales, and marketplace optimization.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance business performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams on digital transformation projects.
• Build partnerships with marketplaces, payment solution providers, and logistics companies.
• Track and report on program impact and online business performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, ICT, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online marketplace management.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, SEO/SEM, and online customer journey optimization.
• Experience delivering training or capacity-building programs is a plus.
• Passion for economic empowerment and inclusive digital growth.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
