Driver at Women and Children Health Empowerment Foundation (WACHEF)

Responsibilities

• To transport project staff to official meeting and activity site visits.
• To deliver official parcels or letters to partner or other offices.
• To ensure that project vehicles and accessories/tools are clean, safe and in good working condition at all time.
• To carry out vehicle inspections before and after official journeys in order to detect defects which must be reported for immediate repair.
• To perform minor repairs and daily maintenance of vehicles
• To maintain a log-book to record details of all trips made and fuel consumption and report records to the Executive Director.
• To ensure safe custody of the vehicles after office hours,
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to various location throughout Nigeria.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Qualification and Experience

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO certificate with at least 3 years experience.

Skill / Abilities:

• Demonstrate computer skills is essentials.
• Good knowledge of FRSC rules and guidelines is essentials

Personal Qualities:

• Creatives and Takes initiatives
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
• Willing and able to travel extensively.
