Driver-Distribution at International Breweries

The key purpose of this role is to safely deliver quality packed products on time and in full while optimizing sustainable customer experience and also ensure the company’s asset is well maintained and in good condition to the overall improvement of the department’s performance in order to meet standards and remain competitive.

Key outputs and responsibilities:

• Attend daily meetings (Safety, Drivers, Departmental)
• Drive and maintain assigned truck
• Manage refusals in trade
• Daily briefing with supervisor
• Manage trip time and product quality
• Safety Monitoring Update And Recording
• Route & POC daily feedback
• Review Own Weekly Performance with Supervisor
• Driver one on one (Performance review)
• Manage Breakages in Transit
• Make use of handheld device to optimize delivery process
• Execute all delivery processes in trade
• Drive DPO in delivery
• Daily Review of PIs with Distribution Supervisors
• Give report on POC / Route risk assessment
• Partake of OWDs & Distribution Process Optimization (DPO) Audits
• Be present for one on one (Performance review) with supervisors

 DISTRIBUTION PERFORMANCE:

• Adhere to delivery KPIs (TIR, TAT, BIT, etc.,)
• Ensure product quality is maintained while enroute POC.
• Be good ambassador and foster good customer relationships.
• Maintain trucks that has been assigned to him/her

HANDHELD DEVICE:

• Make use of handheld device for delivery

MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTHY WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Ensure application of safety and housekeeping standards on trucks.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment both onsite and at customer’s outlet

Profile:

Education and Experience:

• 5 Years experience in logistics and supply chain business as a driver
• Min of SSCE/ND.
