    Director of Impact and Partnership

    • This is a full-time high-level position with A2S Benin City, Nigeria.
    • This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's monitoring and evaluation framework.
    • The M&E Officer will play a crucial role in assessing the effectiveness and impact of our programs, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
    • The position will report to the Founder and the National Director and work closely with the team leads in developing departmental capacity in performance and impact measurement within their department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Impact

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Design and oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes and impact.
    • Develop data collection tools, surveys, and methodologies to gather relevant information efficiently.
    • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for program improvement.
    • Collaborate with program teams to integrate M&E processes into program design and implementation.
    • Train and support staff and partners on M&E methodologies and best practices.
    • Produce regular reports and presentations on program performance for internal and external stakeholders and donors.
    • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and case studies to measure project effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
    • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards related to monitoring and evaluation.
    • Develop learning documents from the results of M&E-managed evaluations/studies as required.

    Partnership

    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organizations, companies, and stakeholders.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
    • Work with the communications and team leads to effectively communicate the impact of the partnership.
    • Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to enhance visibility and network with potential partners.
    • Engage with the community to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into program development.
    • Contribute to the development of compelling grant proposals and reports.

    Qualifications:

    • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Public Policy, Statistics, etc.).
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems for non-profit organizations or development projects.
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills and proficiency in statistical software are preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently when necessary.
    • Knowledge of donor reporting requirements and familiarity with best practices in M&E within the nonprofit sector.
