    Director, Human Resources

    Position Summary

    • A dynamic and visionary HR leader is sought to drive people strategy, champion company culture, and lead all facets of human resources and office operations in Nigeria.
    • The Director, Human Resources will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, fostering talent, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    People & Culture:

    • Lead the design and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational values, goals, and culture.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on HR issues, team dynamics, and performance enhancement.
    • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, and integration processes to attract and retain top talent.
    • Ensure a seamless and impactful employee lifecycle – from onboarding through to exit – with focus on compliance and experience.
    • Monitor compensation trends and maintain competitive and equitable pay structures.
    • Oversee the performance management cycle, ensuring goal alignment, regular feedback, and team motivation.
    • Support employee learning and development through curated training initiatives and external partnerships.
    • Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and audit requirements.
    • Utilize HR data and engagement metrics to inform decision-making and enhance workplace culture.

    Office Operations & Administration:

    • Lead and support a high-performing Admin team to manage day-to-day office operations effectively.
    • Oversee the administration budget, ensuring prudent cost management without compromising on quality.
    • Ensure effective vendor and contractor management, record-keeping, and asset tracking.
    • Optimize use of office resources such as vehicles and ride-sharing accounts, reviewing usage reports for efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and manage associated policy updates.
    • Plan and execute smooth office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and other operational transitions.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing the full HR lifecycle.
    • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
    • Proven ability to coach and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with digital tools, especially Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
    • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Demonstrated passion for building inclusive and inspiring workplaces.
    • Membership in CIPM and possession of certifications such as SPHRi or SHRM-SCP are required.
