Global Profilers is a Recruitment & HR Services firm specialized in recruitment in Africa; we are currently looking for a digital marketer with our client in the food industry

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
• Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.

DIGITAL MARKETING JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
• Oversee social media strategy including DM influencers
• Manage and maintain the organization’s website(s)
• Write and optimize content for social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter
• Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
• Write copy for email marketing campaigns
• Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at
• the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
• Attend product launches and networking events
• Coordinate in generating photography and video assets.

FUNCTIONS

• Posting on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter (3 times each a day, two asset posts and one meme post)
• Prepare, propose and agree a 3month schedule for posting
• Reply all comments and direct messages on social media platforms.
• Come up with ideas for digital marketing campaigns and promotions
• Prepare digital marketing budget for digital marketing campaigns
• Sending bulk email to notify customers of promotions
• Updating the CRM database with new customer data
• Following global and national trends that can be followed and leveraged
• Communicating with ERP providers to ensure that the Digital Menu Boards are up to date and displaying the most recent information
• Communicating with our web developer to ensure the website is up to date and functional
• Tracking our ordering platforms (Jumia) to ensure it is in proper shape
• Updating our Google Business Page with all new information
• Sourcing for and managing social influencers
• Running online promotions on all platforms
• Respond to emails.
