Deputy Head of CIT at Bemil Nigeria Limited

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Head of CIT Operations to support the oversight and strategic management of nationwide CIT operations across 35 states.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the secure, efficient, and compliant CIT movement while maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity and confidentiality.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from banking, financial services operations, or other highly regulated operational environments and demonstrate the ability to manage large-scale, high-risk operations with precision and discipline.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide operational oversight for CIT activities across multiple states.
• Coordinate regional operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain strict adherence to security protocols, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
• Identify operational risks and implement proactive control measures.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and structured reporting.
• Lead and mentor regional operational teams to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and internal departments to ensure effective service delivery.
• Provide regular operational reports and insights to executive leadership.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding operational information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking operations or financial services
• At least 4 years in a senior management or leadership role.
• Experience managing high-risk operations, cash handling operations is highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing multi-location operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and operational discipline
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Proven ability to manage large scale operations across multiple locations
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Hands-on leadership style with willingness to engage directly in operational execution
