The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, processing transactions accurately, and providing excellent customer service. 

The role ensures efficient billing, proper cash handling, and supports smooth financial operations within the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process payments (cash, POS, transfers, vouchers) 
• Issue receipts and ensure accurate billing
• Handle refunds, discounts, and adjustments in line with company policies
• Verify bills before processing payments
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times
• Work closely with service staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Follow company financial policies and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

Requirements:

• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
• OND, NCE, HND, BSc.
• Basic computer knowledge 
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good numerical skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
