Deliveryman/Truck Driver at Goldline Nigeria Limited

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our busy delivery team. You will load up your truck with orders and deliver them to customer locations around the local area or outside the local areas. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. All our delivery staff must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You also must be familiar with the areas to ensure you make on-time deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure products are delivered promptly.
• Keep Vehicle organized, clean, and tidy.
• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements
• Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition

• Ability to complete overnight travel to meet delivery requirements.
• Handles product properly and reports damage to warehouse manager
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the delivery van and notify the manager of any issues.
• Complete documentation such as logs, mileage reports
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards.
• Collect payments, document amounts, and offer receipts when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate safe driving practices
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• A clean driving record with no moving violations
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
• Physically fit and strong.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
