Data Loss Prevention Specialist at Metropolitan School of Business and Management UK

The DLP Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data loss prevention solutions to protect our company's sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain DLP solutions
• Monitor and analyze DLP logs to identify and investigate potential data breaches
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and classify sensitive data
• Develop and maintain DLP policies and procedures
• Stay up to date with the latest DLP technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DLP or information security role
• Strong understanding of DLP technologies, including Data Loss Prevention software and tools
• Knowledge of data encryption and data masking techniques
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus

Skills & Experience:

• Technical experience in DLP technologies and controls
• Good understanding of endpoint security technologies and data loss protection plans
• Hands on experience in SIEM, vulnerability management, incident response, forensics tools
• Problem solver with critical thinking and proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of Privacy engineering concepts and principles
• Conceptual thinking skill;
• Resilience
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of computer issues and to explain technical matters to a non-technical audience
• Experienced at creating standard and ad hoc metric based reports for management.
