Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team. 
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flow, and working with various data infrastructure technologies. 
• This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and accessibility of data across the organization, enabling data-driven decisionmaking and insights.

Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support various data processing and analytics needs.
• Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Data Integration and Management:
• Integrate data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.

Data Quality and Governance:

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
• Adhere to data governance and security policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• oProvide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues and system performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
• Continuously optimize and enhance data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and scalability.

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certification in data engineering, data science, or big data technologies is a plus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with data processing frameworks and tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.

Analytical Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis to derive insights.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
