Crushing Plant Manager at Makaiza Farms Limited

What You’ll Do
As our Crushing Plant Manager, you will: 

• Oversee daily production of palm kernel oil and by-products, ensuring targets are met. 
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize operations. 
• Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing compliance with all safety and environmental standards. 
• Lead and inspire a diverse team, providing mentorship and driving performance. 
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and implement improvement opportunities. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including refinery and solvent plants, to ensure seamless operations. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical Expertise:
• At least 8–10 years of experience in palm kernel crushing or related plant operations, with 5+ years in leadership. 
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred). 
• Deep understanding of production planning, quality control, and maintenance best practices. 

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a dynamic environment. 
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. 

Results-Driven:

• Experience managing budgets and delivering on KPIs like production efficiency and cost optimization.
