Job Description

• As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Credit and Business Development Manager to drive our credit operations and expand our business portfolio.

Responsibilities
Credit Management:

• Assess credit worthiness of potential clients and recommend credit facilities.
• Oversee the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and minimal default rates.
• Develop and implement credit policies and risk assessment strategies.

Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals to attract new clients.
• Contribute to the company’s growth strategies by identifying emerging market trends and opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to design and implement client-focused
• financial solutions.
• Prepare periodic reports on credit activities, business development progress, and market trends.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management and business development in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial products.
• Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
