Costing and Estimation Engineer - Power and Electricals
Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate. Basic knowledge of VFD, PLC, HMI and automation products is a must.
Meeting customers, Consultants and Electrical Contractors toward brand engagement and engaging with Project Engineers for clarifications on Bid documents/enquiries.
Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work and enter computer estimating system, review computer printout for accuracy and completeness
Building necessary relationships with electrical and power systems OEMs
Generate Market intelligence and paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry and preparing strategies to counteract.
Job Requirements
Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics
Between 5-10 years working level experience in Costing of Electrical products, Panels & Switchgears and Solutions.
Thorough Knowledge of Power and Control systems in Design, Configuration and generating SLDs and Drawings.
Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, learns new programs quickly.
Experience in third party interfaces, Industrial Networking, Safety Concepts.
