Corporate Finance Specialist at Arnergy Solar Limited

Come join Arnergy’s Finance team and help improve distributed energy reliability to businesses and homes in Nigeria. As our Corporate Finance Specialist, you will work closely with the CFO and the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies and will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

• Create and review budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating existing financial models and ensuring their accuracy and effectiveness.
• Prepare business proposals that align with business objectives by working with the operations teams.
• Coordinate with business units and managers and make recommendations to enhance financial support to all plans.
• Review and Evaluate actuals against budget/ forecast and prior year.
• Utilize your knowledge of financial modeling to build models for equity and debt capital raises.

• Work closely with the CFO to prepare management and board reports
• Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance.
• Responsible for performing ad-hoc analysis and providing insights to assist management in making informed decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial plans and performing comparative analyses.
• Monitor and report on income and expenses of the company, coordinating with various departments and compiling all financial data, and preparing final financial reports.
• Researching grant funding opportunities and preparing applications for same
• Work closely with the CFO to evaluate all financial results and associated reporting, conducting financial and commercial studies to develop analyses.
• Stay up to date on the latest financial news, trends, and regulations, and provide advice on how they may impact the company.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have:

• Proven working experience as an Associate or Manager at an Investment Bank, Advisory Firm or Big 4
• 4+ years experience
• Undergraduate Degree
• Financial modelling experience
• Experience analyzing financial statement
