KEY JOB ROLE : Conduct research and identify new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, Maritime & Energy sectors - including new markets, growth areas, trends, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITEIS
 

• Review and analyse tenders and EOIs, both technical and commercial parts
• Oversee the preparation of tenders and EOIs keeping to AES standards and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate tender applications. Gather market intelligence for business opportunities, follow industry trends locally and internationally. Develop goals for the business development team and ensure they are met.
• Attend exhibitions, trade shows, business events, and meetings with IOCs. Carry out business presentations/meetings on the company's services and capabilities to potential clients.
• Source for OEMs that meet customer needs and establish MOU. Prepare tenders and ensure all company requirements are provided accurately before deadlines.
• Build customer relationships with potential clients to increase client base. Develop growth strategies and plans to secure more business opportunities for the company.
• Manage and retain relationships with existing clients. Have in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions. Ensure that statutory documents required for the smooth running of the department are renewed as at when due.
• Write business proposals when required for potential clients. Research business opportunities and viable income streams. Write reports and activities in the business development department.

Requirements

• Education: An Engineering degree (B.SC or HND), Energy Studies, Maritime Sciences, or any related disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years post NYSC work experience in a similar or related role within the Oil & Gas Energy, Maritime Industries

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to support engine room operations and maintenance of marine utility systems onboard. The role involves assisting with equipment operation, routine and corrective maintenance, safety monitoring, and emergency response activities in line with approved company and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of engine room and utility systems
• Stand engine room watches and support daily operational activities as assigned
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance under Permit to Work (PTW) procedures
• Safely isolate and reinstate equipment for maintenance and repairs
• Conduct routine equipment inspections, safety checks, and housekeeping
• Support environmental protection and pollution control measures
• Accurately record maintenance activities and report defects or abnormalities
• Participate in drills and emergency response duties as outlined in the station bill
• Carry out additional technical and safety-related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• STCW III/1 (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch)
• 1–3 years experience in a marine or engine room environment
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
• Familiarity with safety systems, PTW processes, and isolation procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
