    Responsibilties

    • Preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and mixing
    • Cooking meals according to recipes or customer preferences
    • Ensuring food is presented attractively and served on time
    • Monitoring food quality, freshness, and storage conditions
    • Following food safety and hygiene regulations
    • Managing kitchen equipment and reporting any issues
    • Assisting with menu planning or suggesting new dishes (in some roles).

    Skills and qualifications

    • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
    • Ability to follow recipes accurately
    • Time management and ability to work under pressure
    • Attention to detail, especially for taste and presentation
    • Basic understanding of nutrition and food safety standards.
