Content Execution & SEO Specialist at I-Train Africa

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

The Content Execution & SEO Specialist is responsible for turning I-Train Africa’s content strategies into consistent, high-performing content across social and search channels. This role owns execution, from producing short-form social content to publishing SEO-optimized articles and landing content that drive discoverability, traffic, and conversions.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who can execute at scale, repurpose intelligently, and ensure that every approved idea becomes live, searchable, and visible content.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Execution (Social & Multimedia)

• Translate content strategies into live, platform-ready content.
• Produce and manage monthly outputs including:
  • 60+ short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
  • 8–12 carousels
  • 20+ content scripts
• Repurpose long-form and SEO content into social formats (and vice versa).
• Work closely with designers or use tools to deliver visual content quickly.

SEO Content Execution (Core Responsibility)

• Research keywords and search intent relevant to youth education, careers, skills, and training.
• Produce and publish SEO-optimized content, including:
  • Blog articles
  • Website pages
  • Program landing pages
• Optimize content for:
  • On-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links)
• Readability and conversion
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO content with campaigns and programs.
• Update and repurpose existing content to improve rankings and performance.

Content Planning & Operations

• Develop and manage content calendars across 4 brands, covering both social and SEO content.
• Ensure consistent publishing cadence across all channels.
• Track content performance using basic analytics and SEO tools.
• Use insights from SEO, platform trends, and performance data to refine execution.

Social Media Management

• Manage and publish content across:
• Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Facebook
• Optimize content for each platform’s format, timing, and audience behavior.
• Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all platforms.

Team Coordination

• Supervise junior content associates and interns.
• Review outputs for quality, SEO accuracy, and brand alignment.
• Ensure fast turnaround and execution discipline.

Skills & Competencies (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong SEO content execution skills (keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization).
• Proven ability to write long-form SEO content and short-form social content.
• Experience repurposing content across formats and channels.
• Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Google Analytics).
• Fast, detail-oriented executor with strong follow-through.
• Strong internal communication and ability to work from briefs.
