Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural/Building Engineer with a strong background in road construction to join our dynamic real estate development team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of road infrastructure and related structural/building projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and supervise the construction of roads, highways, and related infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and geotechnical assessments for road construction projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for civil and structural works.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to approved designs and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, architects, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to construction challenges.
• Review and approve construction materials, methods, and testing procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for road construction projects.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for completed projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in road construction, including highways, pavements, and drainage systems.
• Professional Engineer with license by NSE, COREN, CORBON, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
