Strengthening the link between the community and MSF programs and activities
Promote MSF ICCM services through mobilization, referrals and strengthening linkage to care
Conduct home visit/follow up of referrals from ICCM, ATFC and ITFC Support defaulter tracing (nutrition, vaccination, ANC) Assist in community mapping
Conduct daily health education sessions in the selected communities about MSF and different medical thematics with the target population
Organize and conduct routine meeting/capacity building sessions with the community leaders, community key people like e.g TBAs, youth and women group etc. in the target communities in collaboration with HP supervisor
Establish and maintain strong relationship with the communities where MSF operates
Participant in celebrating of specific health days in the communities.
Participant in community-based surveillance during outbreaks
Participate in mass vaccination and other seasonal outreach activities and campaigns
Screening children for malnutrition in the community and referring them to the nearest OTPs in the catchment communities
Report to line manager of any constrain and results of activities on a regular basis.
Collect community concerns, rumors, and feedback Support Community Feedback Mechanisms and Share feedback with MSF teams for program adaptation
Support the HP activities of ATFC/ITFC/SRH whenever need arises
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess relevant an OND, BEd, or HND qualification with at least 2 years of experience.
