Community Engagement Officer (Digital)

At Babymigo, we are driven by a mission to help reduce maternal and infant mortality in Africa. We help make moms' lives easier through all the stages of pregnancy and parenthood by sharing and pooling knowledge, advice and a support system.

We make it easy for parents to find all the support they need, read trusted articles from experts daily, find and join their favorite communities to share experiences, get questions answered by experienced mothers & doctors, connect and meet mothers in the same birth club or similar stage.

About the role

You will help drive our efforts in improving our community engagement across all closed digital channels. You must be an exceptional content writer and communicator able to engage any audience; a fierce believer in Babymigo, with a knack for creating positive buzz around the company.

You’ll be Babymigo's voice; bring excitement to work, champion our brand vision and mission and collaborate across teams to promote activities that help us build a stronger community, learn more about our users and build a brand that is loved by many.

What you'll be doing

You will:

• Implement the company’s community content and engagement efforts in increasing website visits, sign-ups and user retention.

• Regularly create engaging content and materials to engage members of our community.

• Periodically run surveys and analysis to better understand users' needs.

• Propose and organize community activities and campaigns to help us connect, interact with and learn from our family of users.

• Strive to increase user engagement with Babymigo and build trust with our community of users through transparent communication.

• Identify key events that align with Babymigo’s community goals, represent the company at such or similar events; network and be our voice.

• Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
