Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Co-operative Driver to join our dynamic team.

• You will also be the face of our company on the road, providing exceptional customer service when engaging with clients or stakeholders during pickups and deliveries.
• Additionally, you will manage the vehicle's maintenance schedule and perform regular checks to ensure it is operating in safe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff and deliveries to various locations safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations while driving.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe handling of items during transport.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents promptly to management for immediate resolution.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO / HND / OND qualification with 0-1 year of work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
