Assist Head of Clearing operations in day-to-day clearance activities.
Daily updates as regards Clearance status – Export/Import Status.
Shipments to be cleared within set KPIs as defined by Management.
Design good implementable plans for client’s business in line with company policy.
Well versed with Import and export clearance procedure.
Good rapport with Authorities SON/NAFDAC/Shipping Lines/Terminal Authorities.
Create and manage account for clients.
Thorough knowledge of documentation involved in import /export clearance process.
Well versed formalities with Free Zone clearance -Import/Export.
Organize and manage the team in clearing, documentation, and logistics for the smooth running of operations in the system.
Prompt attention to all clients’ complaints within the stipulated time frame and with good feedback to management.
Follow up with both operations and clearing staff to ensure that all documents are screened before capture and lodgments with customs to identify deviation (if any) and to inform clients immediately.
Ensure that all financial request and transactions are well handled within set timelines.
Ensure all facilities are in place for transporters and that all safety standards are met with other specific requirements from clients.
Ensure weekly update of activities to top Management ..
Design clients meeting activities and take note for further follow up/actions.
Qualifications
B.Sc In relevant field
At least 4 years in a similar role.
Well versed formalities with Free Zone clearance -Import/Export.
