Civil Project Engineer at Vagan Oil & Gas Limited

VAGAN OIL AND GAS LIMITED pursue to recruit a result-oriented Civil Project Engineer with the ability to forecast the time frame for a particular project and ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner. This individual should be able to carry out the following,

RESPONSIBILITY/DUTIES 

• Analyses data to plan and design projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standard
• Conduct risk -analysis for each project.
• Prepare and submit Permits to comply with Federal, state and local regulations
• Analyses Test Results of construction Materials
• Manage the repair and maintenance of completed Projects
• Designing public structure and project blueprint using CAD and CAE software
• Managing civil engineer technician and lower-level worker to complete projects on time and on budget
• Analyzing relevant data to create project plans
• Conducting risk-analysis to set each project up for success
• Maintain control of all project documentation
• Coordinates and maintains special inspection documentation for the project
• Create, manage and track RFI’s from the field to the Architect/Engineer of record
• Maintain and distribute project plans.
• Maintain/update project records
• Assist the Project Manager/Superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.
• Understand project plans and specifications.
• Study job Specification to determine appropriate construction methods
• Assist the Project plans and Specifications
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
•  Assist the project team with documenting job progress, schedule.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Construction Management.
• Project Management.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Decision-making Ability and leadership skills.
• 7 +years of project construction Experience.

CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER SKILLS

• Excellent IT skill.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Cost Estimator.
• Candidate must possess construction, transportation, geotechnical or structural skills.
• Project management skills to bring designs to life.
