Provide real-time interpretation for meetings and conversations, ensuring clear communication between English and Chinese speakers.
Work closely with various teams, requiring frequent communication and collaboration.
Assist in translating business materials and supporting the company's daily operations by facilitating communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
Ensure translations align with the company’s terminology and language preferences through ongoing training and business instruction.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with excellent translation and interpretation skills.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with translation tools, spreadsheets, and mobile applications.
Ability to quickly understand and translate industry-specific terminology; company-provided training will be offered to help familiarize the translator with key business and industry-specific language.
Experience working with translation software like Google Translate and willingness to engage in machine-assisted translation.
Must work in-house and be available for frequent real-time oral interpretation, often resolving translation needs on the spot.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
A cultural understanding of both Chinese and English-speaking contexts, ensuring translations are accurate and contextually appropriate.
Flexibility to expand into other roles, including customer-facing or project management positions, as opportunities for growth are available within the company.
