Description

The CTO contributes to a positive corporate performance by overseeing and building internal capacity to deliver solutions that ensure the fulfilment of all client and project specifications in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

• Develop and oversee the management of strategies, project budget and resource allocation (human and material) to facilitate project delivery and budget implementation
• Oversee end to the end value chain of project delivery ranging from project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control to closure
• Establish service delivery metrics, controls, and systems to monitor and track the overall performance of the technical operations business unit against pre-defined standards
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with relevant government entities as well as represent SW Global before governmental agencies and industry partners
• Manage communication with clients and other stakeholders to gain an adequate understanding of clients’ business requirements to ensure projects meet and/or exceed client expectations
• Understand and implement leading practices, new and significant improvements across technology, project management, and other areas of technical operations
• Coordinate the articulation and implementation of technical operations policies and procedures to ensure effective utilization of available company resource
• Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure the installation, testing, and maintenance of software/hardware solutions comply with all applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management objectives prior to project deployment/GO LIVE
• Drive performance of technical/ project teams across the different areas of responsibility to create the right environment for the successful delivery of projects within the stipulated timeframe, agreed on scope, and defined budget
• Gather Insights from documents and reports obtained from customer/client feedback to identify gaps and areas of possible improvements in service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience in the IT Industry with at least three
• (3) years in a Senior Management level position
• Minimum of first degree in IT or any other related discipline
• MBA or a Masters’ in IT, Project Management or any related field

• Relevant professional certifications e.g. Project Management Professional Certification
• The incumbent should be registered with the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN).
• The professional must first be a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
• Must have NCS and CPN registration.
