    Chief Financial Officer

    About the Job

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships.
    • They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
    • Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
    • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
    • Prepare financial statements and reports
    • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
    • Manage relationships with banks
    • Provides leadership in the development of a continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
    • Ensure credibility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
    • Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy.
    • Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control of financial activities of Chisco Express.
    • Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, cross team communications and workflow
    • Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and taking action.
    • Research economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement.
    • Perform risk management analysis of company liabilities/investments, evaluate and manage capital structure.
    • Monitor performance with tracking, and establish corrective measures as needed.
    • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards and other relevant regulations
    • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
    • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Have principal responsibility for accounting, audited financial statements, management accounts, treasury, tax, financial planning, reporting and analysis of financials to all stakeholders and enterprise risk management and internal audit.

    Qualifications

    • BSc / BA / HND in Accounting, Finance or any other related field, MBA highly desirable.
    • 7 - 10 years' of finance experience
    • Strong finance-based analytical skills
    • Qualified Accountant (recognized international qualification)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
    • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
    • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
    • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
    • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., QUICKBOOKS)
    • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and people skills.
    • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
    • Professional membership of relevant association(s).
