    Chief Dealer - Fixed Income

    REF: ALT-2023

    Our client is a registered portfolio/funds management company dedicated solely to managing assets for carefully selected investors that crave high quality, specialized and personalized niche products and services in the areas of portfolio/funds management, arbitrage and financial intermediation, financial/investment advisory, and corporate finance services

    Role Summary

    The ideal candidate should have at least 3 to 6 years of experience in a reputable asset management company as a fixed income dealer with investment decision-making, solid communication/presentation skills and good inter-personal relationships

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure portfolio meets day to day and long-term liquidity needs. The portfolio must be structured and managed within the parameters outlined in the creditmarket and counterparty risk policy.
    • Provide financial return for the organization while also providing liquidity to other business lines.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance returns across asset portfolios.
    • Facilitate trade execution in fixed income space while ensuring a high level of service to all clients.
    • Prepareand deliver reports, presentations and commentaries detailing historic performance, strategies, opportunities and risks.
    • Build, onboard and maintain relationship with trading clients and inform clients of applicable market activity, changes in market structure, regulatory issues or ad hoc requests.
    • Confirm all trades are booked accurately on daily basis and trade allocations are received from clients to be processed preventing the risk of loss and client impact, resolving trade booking issues for clients and ensuring settlement of trades occur.
    • Interaction with senior management daily to execute transaction and discuss strategies.

    Key Requirements

    • B.Sc./M.Sc./ MBA Accounting /Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Social Science or any related courses
    • 3-6 years progressive work experience in financial services sector
    • Strong Quantitative, analytical and communication skills
    • Good Presentation & Negotiation Skills
    • Effective Documentation and keen eye for details
