Our client,a leading FinancialServices Institution, is seeking to hire an experienced and highly competent a Chief Compliance Officer to join its dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have extensiveaudit experience within the bankingsector, with an in-depth understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and overseethe organisation\'s compliance program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal obligations.
• Conduct comprehensive auditsof compliance processes, policies, and procedures to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks, internal controls, and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align compliance strategies with business objectives.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and manageregulatory examinations, reporting, and responses.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related mattersand ethical standards.
• Monitor emerging regulatory trends and proactively adjust compliance policiesand procedures.

Person Specification

• First degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years’ relatedexperience in compliance, audit, or risk management in the banking sector
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or CAMS
