Job Description

• We are currently recruiting for the position of a Chef De Partie. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in directing the bakery staff and baking activities to ensure all preparation of meals are made according to menu specification

Duties

• Preparation and arrangement of materials to be used for meal preparation before work begins.
• Prepare the baked meals for airlines using the menu specifications provided and communicated safety guidelines.
• Preparation of all baked items within set deadlines to avoid delay.
• Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
• Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.

Requirements

• Culinary Degree, OND or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years relevant baking experience in high volume multi-menu food operation
• Working knowledge of food safety service and procedure
• Fluent English, written and spoken
