Job description

• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (e.g., FIRS regulations), and handle statutory filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare tax returns, VAT computations, and support external audits while advising on financial best practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and monitor cash flow projections.
• Maintain financial records using tools like QuickBooks or SAP, ensuring timely reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Nigerian university.
• Full ICAN or ACCA charter with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in accounting/auditing.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and knowledge of Nigerian GAAP/IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in outsourcing or fintech sectors is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a commitment to ethical standards.
