Category Sales Officer (Non HP Category) at Dreamworks Global Logistics Limited

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Research potential vendors and suppliers.
• Search and respond to all tenders regarding Non HP products (Asus, Lenovo etc).
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Market products and services to ensure a successful sell-out.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc in Logistics, Computer Science or any related field.
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar role.

Skills & Expertise:

• Proven work experience in Non HP portfolio Management (ASUS, Lenovo & co.)
• Good knowledge of Local Market Environment.
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create reports and conduct cost analyses.
• Negotiation skills.
• In-depth industry knowledge regarding best practices, policies, current regulations, and technology
• Strong ethics and reliability.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Additional distinctions or certifications may be preferred or required.
• Exceptional research, planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and math skills.
