We are seeking a reliable and efficient Cashier to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions, handling customer payments, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments
Count change and balance cash drawer
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
Scan items and bag merchandise
Handle returns and exchanges
Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals
Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
2+ year of experience in retail or customer service
Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
