Description

• We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to manage all customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
• The Cashier will handle billing, process payments, issue receipts, and balance cash registers while ensuring a smooth checkout experience for guests.
• In a lounge/club setting, the Cashier also plays a key role in reconciling bar/food sales and working closely with waitstaff and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and process food and beverage orders through the POS system.
• Issue receipts, accept payments (cash, cards, transfers), and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Reconcile daily sales, prepare cash reports, and balance cash drawer at the end of shifts.
• Monitor and record discounts, vouchers, and promotional redemptions.
• Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with waiters, bartenders, and management to track orders and payments.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of sales, refunds, and credits.
• Follow security procedures to prevent theft, fraud, or errors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate.
• Prior experience as a Cashier, Teller, or POS operator (hospitality experience preferred).
• Basic math and accounting knowledge.
• Familiarity with POS systems, e-payments, and receipt handling.
• Must be reliable, honest, and accountable.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
