• The Business/Operations Manager will be critical in overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Implement efficient systems and processes to improve productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of products.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies that align with corporate goals.
• Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

Financial Oversight:

• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasting sales and expenses.
• Analyze financial reports to monitor the health of the business and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Enhance customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
• Develop and implement customer retention strategies.

Sustainability Initiatives:

• Promote sustainable practices in product sourcing and operations.
• Engage with the community to support local artisans and preserve cultural heritage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in business operations, management, or a related area (3-5 years).
• Strong understanding of financial principles and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Passion for African culture and sustainable practices is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software.
